Once dogs complete their training at the Correctional Facility, they must be re-introduced to real world, everyday social situations to complete their formal training and be ready for certification. Click here to download an application form.

SDA is a statewide organization and utilizes fosters, shelters and socializers/trainers all over the state of Alabama and sometimes in nearby states. Once dogs are ready to enter formal training or have completed training, they must be transported to and from a rendezvous in Dothan with staff from the Gainesville Correctional Facility.
